Advertising Policy

Review4Buy is free to read because it is supported by advertising. This policy explains how advertising works on our site and the rules that keep it separate from our editorial content.

Types of advertising on Review4Buy

• Display advertising from Google AdSense. Automated ads selected by Google. They are loaded only if you accept advertising cookies. We do not choose the individual ads Google shows.
• Direct-sold display ads. Banner ads bought directly from us by businesses through our advertiser portal. Every creative is reviewed by our team before it goes live.
• House ads. Promotions for our own content, newsletter, or services.
• Sponsored content. Occasionally, a brand may pay for an article to be published. Sponsored articles are always labelled "Sponsored" at the top of the article and on article cards.

All ads are clearly labelled "Advertisement", "Sponsored", or "Promoted" and are visually separated from editorial content.

Editorial independence

Advertising never influences our editorial decisions:

• Advertisers cannot buy a positive review, a higher rating, or a place in a "best of" list.
• Advertisers do not see or approve our articles before publication (except sponsored content they commission, which is labelled).
• Our editorial team decides what to cover, independently of our advertising relationships.
• A product we review negatively may still be advertised on the site, and a product that is advertised may still receive a critical review.

Ad placement standards

We place ads so they do not get in the way of reading:

• ads are not disguised as content, navigation, or download buttons;
• we do not place ads on sign-in, registration, account, or search pages;
• we do not use pop-ups or ads that auto-play sound; and
• we never encourage visitors to click on ads.

Rules for direct advertisers

We do not accept ads that:

• are misleading, deceptive, or make unrealistic claims ("get rich quick", miracle cures);
• promote illegal products or services, weapons, drugs, or counterfeit goods;
• contain adult, sexually explicit, violent, or hateful content;
• promote gambling, where it is not legal or appropriate for our audience;
• link to pages with malware, phishing, or excessive pop-ups; or
• infringe trademarks, copyrights, or other rights.

Every campaign and creative is reviewed before it goes live. We may reject or remove any ad at our discretion. Advertisers must also follow our Terms & Conditions.

Reporting an ad

If you see an ad that is offensive, misleading, or broken, please email advertising@review4buy.com with the page address and a description or screenshot. For Google ads, you can also use the "AdChoices" / "Why this ad?" icon on the ad itself.
